Service: Everyone was very nice and we didn't have to wait long for anything, though it wasn't very busy. On service alone the place was great. Although, they did bring us an opened container of milk for my kid. I'm sure it was an honest mistake but still interesting.

Drinks: My wife and I had the perfect margarita's as I heard they were excellent. I wouldn't go that far, but they were good, not great.

Food: We ordered the beer cheese with pretzels appetizer and the pretzels were really good. The cheese was alright. We actually found the honey mustard that came with it to be the better dip. I ordered the Bourbon Black & Blue Burger. It tasted as if it had a whole can of pepper on it, the sauce was meh as best, and it needed more blue cheese. It was terrible. The fries were pretty good though. My wife ordered a steak (the street steak?) because a fired of ours (Pookie) claimed they have the best steak she's ever had. That was a mistake, as I suspected, as my wife said it was one of the worst she's ever had. The meat was full of fat and it was over-seasoned apparently. My MIL had the fish & chips and she said it was alright.

Conclusion: We let our guard down due to a few people saying they liked it, and that was a mistake. I will never step foot in another Applebee's for food. I may go have drinks at the bar though.]]> Local Businesses Wed, 24 Apr 2013 18:17:37 +0000
