In wake of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, CT, on the morning of Friday, December, 14, 2012, the Forney Independent School District released a statement on their website offering condolences and reassurances to local Forney families.

Forney ISD Football Season Tickets on Sale Beginning July 23
Tickets to all Forney ISD varsity football games will go on sale beginning July 23. The first tickets that will be available will be for all returning season ticket holders.
Forney High School has six home games this year and North Forney High School has five home games. Season ticket packets for Forney High School are $48 per packet and North Forney High School season ticket packets are $40 per packet.

The story behind Ralls ISD Jackrabbits fundraising efforts for Forney tornado victims
Though the EF-3 tornado that tore through Forney happened over two months ago, a generous school district nearly 400 miles away from Forney recently sent a monetary donation to help local tornado victims. Ralls ISD, from Ralls, Texas near Lubbock, sent a check for $721.01 to Forney ISD Superintendent Michael Holland with a letter explaining how they raised the funds.
