On June 4, 2012, it was reported to the Forney Police Department by an employee of the City of Forney Parks Department in reference to missing bleachers. It was reported that five stadium bleachers were taken from the baseball fields at Mulberry Park.
Forney Detectives investigating the case made several inquires and segments of the bleachers were located at a nearby scrap metal yard. The pieces matched the still attached stadium bleachers at the park. A suspect was detained when he showed up with more pieces of the bleachers. He was transported to Forney Police Department for questioning. The suspect identified as Terry Wayne Reeves of Forney was charged with a Class A Misdemeanor Theft for the bleachers. A bond of $5,000.00 was set for Reeves.
