Terrell, Texas -On October 25, 2012, at approximately 1:41 a.m., Kaufman County deputies responded to a shots-fired call at a residence in the 1000 block of Wright Street in Terrell, Texas.

Kaufman, Texas- After almost nine years of dedicated service to the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Team, Max the super sniffer is retiring. Still full of pep and energy with a little gray hair around his muzzle and dotting his coal black fur coat, not much gets by those piercing yellow eyes.

Kaufman Texas, - On September 6th, 2012, 66 year old Mr. George Thomas Collins, left his residence in Kaufman at approximately 5:00 p.m. in his 2000 Motor Home Ford Damon Intruder with the license plate number of TX 5DZTH. The Intruder is white with gray and blue stripping on the sides.

**UPDATE: On Monday, September 10, 2012, the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office reported that Mr. Collins is home. No more details on his condition or whereabouts have been released at this time.**

Terrell Texas, - On August 15, 2012 at approximately 8:15 a.m., Kaufman County deputies responded to a call regarding a burglary and a theft that had occurred at a business in the 6000 block of N. FM 148.

Forney Texas – After a month long undercover investigation, Kaufman County narcotics investigators were able to locate a suspect in a drug selling operation. Arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group One Over 4 Grams but Under 200 Grams, was Michael Sinclair, 61, of Forney.

Crandall Texas – An undercover investigation by Kaufman County narcotics investigators yielded the arrest of Jabari Demond Andrews, 24, of Dallas and Curtis Dominique Hall, 24, of Dallas.

Kaufman, Texas. – Sheriffs deputies have charged a Kaufman man with Aggravated Assault on a Family Member with a deadly weapon SBI. The charge stems from an altercation that started about 5:30 pm. on June 15, 201211, at a residence in the 8000 block of Silverado Loop.

Forney Texas, - During a routine traffic stop two men were arrested on drug charges. On June 8, 2012, at approximately 5:34 pm. a Kaufman County deputy stopped a tan Buick for speeding.

Terrell, Texas - On Sunday, June 3, 2012, at approximately 8:48 am. Kaufman County deputies responded to a call regarding an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The victim reported to deputies that while he was traveling down FM 429 north, a white Chevrolet Suburban with Oklahoma tags passed his vehicle on the left side of the roadway.
